About Pregnancy Services

During pregnancy, muscle stretching, ligament changes, and shifts in posture can contribute to pain, discomfort, and movement challenges. Pelvic health physical therapy during pregnancy helps support your body through these changes so you can stay active, exercise safely, and manage pain throughout pregnancy.

We provide one-on-one pregnancy physical therapy focused on preparing your body for childbirth, supporting the pelvic floor and abdominal wall, and reducing the risk of common pregnancy-related issues. Care is personalized to help promote comfort during pregnancy and support a smoother transition into postpartum recovery.

Postpartum Program

Pregnancy and childbirth impact the pelvic floor, abdominal wall, hips, and core, and symptoms can appear immediately or years later. Postpartum pelvic floor physical therapy can reduce pain, restore strength and function, and support your return to exercise, intimacy, and daily life. It’s never too late to seek care—whether you are 6 weeks or 6 years postpartum.

Our postpartum program can begin as early as 2 weeks (typically 4-6 weeks) postpartum for early healing concerns such as bathroom management, perineal care, and safe movement. In-person visits typically start around 6 weeks postpartum. Treatment may include pelvic floor and abdominal assessment, core and hip strengthening, scar mobility, breathing and posture work, baby wearing and postural assessment, and guidance for returning to activity, work, and intimacy.
