Pelvic Health
The pelvic floor muscles play an essential role in bowel, bladder, and sexual function and can also contribute to pelvic pain and discomfort when they are not working optimally. Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on evaluating muscle strength, tension, coordination, and movement patterns that may be contributing to symptoms.
Here at Diablo Summit Pelvic Health our pelvic floor physical therapists provide individualized treatment using evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular retraining, and personalized home programs to support long-term symptom management and improved function. We provide pelvic health physical therapy for men, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals ages 18 and older.
